Stone Craft premium denim emerges with its debut collection for Spring Summer 2012 with a new concept for denim: hand-printed denim. The concept was conceived by denim connoisseur, Orly Dahan, on a trip to Paris earlier this year. Dahan noticed the uptrend of textile-rich, fashion prints in today’s contemporary market. The bar has been set for a multidimensional aesthetic, materials & process for all those at the forefront of fashion. As a denim manufacturer for 30 years, Dahan realized that embellishing denim is a linear approach and the washing & dying of denim while still relevant, has reached a plateau. Dahan decided to hand design prints, including batik and stripes, and to screen print on the denim. Dahan has spent months perfecting his printing process and the washing & dying of the printed denim. The final product is fresh with color, texture & print, in silhouettes for everyone.
