BACKSTORY:  A native Angeleno, Krisabelle is a progeny of the fashion industry.  Her father has headed production for several high-end apparel companies, while her mother owns and operates a private label firm. It was inevitable, that Krisabelle would grow up well-versed in the language of fashion.  By junior high she was shopping for garments  with seasoned expertise, inspecting them for style, quality, fiber content and constructive detail.  At UCLA, Krisabelle took on a rigorous curriculum and graduated cum lade in three years. The pull of the "family business" proved alluring and she found herself in her first post-collegiate endeavor as the go-to-gal at the denim label Chip & Pepper.  After a year of corralling marketing, PR, sales and merchandising for the denim house and recognizing a niche for fashionable tops to complement premium jeans, Krisabelle decided to strike out on her own by floating a test line of tops and marketing them across the West Coast.  Her success with this initial effort encouraged her to launch Krisa in Spring 2005.
INSPIRATIONS:  Life.  Inspiration can come from anywhere at anytime, you just have to keep your mind open.
